Mo Pop Festival is the point during the half-way mark of summer when the Detroit Riverfront is the perfect place to spend two sun-soaked days listening to some of the hottest music artists including all your favorites mixed with fresh new talent- including a great line-up of local musicians to keep your ears on the ground. 2019 headliners included Vampire Weekend and Tame Impala, Detroit-native Lizzo, along with a list names to keep discovering on the music charts in coming months.
Check out our interviews with some of our favorite musicians that hit the stages this year along with our photo recap by Lizz Wilkinson. Interviews include Detroit-based artists, Siena Liggins, Craig Brown Band and Problematicblackhottie and Tammy Lakkis (who performed at the Haute to Death & Friends stage) and feature a light art installation by Patrick Ethen.
