“In Detroit, small businesses are rapidly taking root in neighborhoods all over the city. From coffee shops and galleries, to bakeries and custom sneaker designers, 4exit4 highlights nine businesses that are changing the conversation of the community.”

This inspirational short film has received a lot of attention from various news publications on how exactly Detroit will be ‘rebuilt.’ It will not be done by one large corporation or millions of news articles, but a cumulative effort by many small business owners and people making a difference, one by one, brick by brick. These young entrepreneurs are focusing on what they are passionate about and providing services that were not previously available to the downtown community. It is truly astonishing to see the embracing response that each business is receiving due to opening up shop. People who start  unique, small businesses in Detroit have the opportunity to be very successful.
