ArtWorks Detroit is one of Detroit’s most premier art auctions and Matrix Human Services’ most successful fundraisers. For the past 26 years, the artist community has rallied together to raise funds to support the essential work of Matrix Human Services. We are thrilled to collectively continue our impact this year and invite you to join us! We are honored to feature the donated works from renowned artists such as Frank Kelley Jr., Keith Carrington, Laurie Tennent, Mike Han! Featured image artwork is courtesy of Martyna Alexander, another participant in this year’s auction.
Due to the rising COVID-19 Delta variant cases sweeping the country, the in-person celebration planned for Friday, September 17th, has been canceled. Following last year’s successful reimagined digital event, the 2021 ArtWorks Detroit art auction will be a weeklong hybrid experience from Monday, September 13th through Friday, September 17th, 2021.
