On Thursday, Sept. 12th ArtWorks Detroit, presented by Matrix Human Services will take place as the 24th annual benefit fundraising event.

As Detroit’s premier art auction, ArtWorks Detroit will feature live and silent auctions of donated works from renowned local artists, such as Tylonn Sawyer, Sydney James, Rashaun Rucker, Laurie Tennent, and over 70 other prolific artists.

Hosted by art powerhouse couples, Carmen and George N’Namdi, Karen and Ed Ogul, and Linda and David Whitaker at Eastern Market’s Wasserman Projects Art Gallery, attendees will also enjoy complimentary drinks, food tastings, and entertainment for an exciting evening worthy of the Detroit art community.

Doors will open at 5:00pm for the VIP Collector’s Hour, which is an exclusive opportunity for VIP ticket holders to preview the artwork and purchase before the general public arrives, while mingling with featured artists. Doors will open at 6:00pm for General Admission ticket holders.

GENERAL ADMISSION ($100):

VIP ADMISSION ($150):

• Access to the VIP Collector’s hour that starts at 5:00pm, which includes an open bar and private viewing and advance purchase of available pieces before the general public!
