In celebration of Detroit Design Festival 2017 and the UNESCO City of Design designation, Grand Circus Magazine is co-hosting the “Design Is Everywhere!” Symposium in partnership with PLAYGROUND DETROIT. As a part of the official festival programming on Thursday, September 28th from 5-7PM [to kick off Eastern Market After Dark] this lecture and panel discussion will feature a diverse range of designers in fields that range from architecture and furniture design to graphic and interior design. The evening will be hosted by Editor in Chief, Alex Trajkovski and feature a keynote presentation by graphic designer/owner of Other Studio, Eileen Tjan on graphic design; in relation to brands, and other guest panelists specifically about how individuals relate to the space around them within an urban context, such as Detroit.
