” Detroit Soup, started by Kate Daughdrill and Jessica Hernandez, brings local artists and entrepreneurs together to pitch ideas on how to revive their hometown.”

The community members who attend the dinners held by Soup get the oppurtunity to vote on the evening’s favorite project proposals, which will recieve the pool of the dinner’s funds. Past winners include a PLAYGROUND DETROIT favorite and CCS graduate, Veronika Scott .
