GO SEE: THE PLEASURE OF SOUND DOCUMENTARY MOVIE PREMIERE AT THE WYTHE HOTEL IN BROOKLYN
The film is premiering tonight at the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, one screening at 7 p.m. and another at 9 p.m. The screening is free and RSVP here for last minute tickets! Doors will open at 8:30 p.m. with the screening at 9, followed by a 20-minute Q&A with Matthew Dear, Jad Abumrad & director Mikel Ellcessor and meet-greet in the Wythe’s fantastic bar ’till midnight.

Jad Abumrad is a Macarthur and Peabody award-winning radio producer and host of WNYC’s Radiolab.
Shot entirely at Detroit locations (Wayne State University, The Detroit Design Center, Movement Electronic Music Festival, The Empowerment Plan and WDET), the film also features original recordings of Detroit Symphony Orchestra musicians.
