MICHIGAN ARTS ADVOCACY DAY 2018 REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
On Wednesday, April 18, 2018 for Arts Advocacy Day will bring an energized and engaged group making a difference on behalf of the creative sector in Michigan. Will you be there?
For the first time in nearly 10 years, Creative Many Michigan is bringing back Michigan Arts Advocacy Day to gather individuals and organizations from across the state to speak directly to lawmakers about the importance of support for arts, culture, arts education and the creative industries. Attend as an Advocate
As an Arts Advocacy Day attendee, you’ll embark on an experience that will inspire you, inform you about the challenges and opportunities facing the creative community, and provide you with resources and motivation to advocate on behalf of the arts in your community.
Cost is $25 for general admission or $10 for students. The funds will cover lunch for attendees, print materials and will support artist fees.
Participate as a Partner
As a leader of the creative community, we invite you to join our growing list of Art Advocacy Partners.
In this role, you are invited to:
- Have your name and organization in our program and on materials listed to legislators
- Recruit staff or community members to attend Arts Advocacy Day
- Help schedule meetings with your State Senator and State Representative
- Publicize Arts Advocacy Day both online and in person
Registration will open January 16, 2018 and close April 04, 2018

We will meet in the conference room of the Michigan Municipal League then proceed to rally on the capitol steps before attending legislative meetings with your representatives.
