College for Creative Studies alum, Brian Barr is spreading his energy beyond the canvas and the classroom to build the Passenger Project Space, currently located in the Lofts at Merchant Row.  Here artists will find room for residencies, temporary exhibitions, lectures, and workshops.

The first of his curated shows is Lost and Found: Belief and Doubt in Contemporary Pictures. The exhibition is divided between the Passenger Space, Museum of New Art Detroit, and the Starkweather Arts Center, each with separate opening dates, enabling a communal spirit and exploration of both Metro and Downtown Detroit for the artists, curators, patrons, and general audience.

The Romeo Observer has written coverage on the show, including insightful interviews with Brian Barr  and his sister, Kristin Barr (Art Director at SAC): READ THE STORY
