Nearly two decades ago Paxahau started as an online resource for electronic music and events. Through its Paxahau Webcast Series, the company broke early 2000s hits from artists like Carl Cox, Marco Carola, Carl Craig and Kecin Saunderson with their (then revolutionary) online streaming service.  They continue create outstanding mixes and tracks, and have since moved their musical archives to popular hosting site, Soundcloud. Through the initial creation of an online home for the music Paxahau is impassioned for, the company showed early signs of devotion for electronic sounds.

Shifting focus to develop event production, Paxahau began to steer direction Movement Festival in 2006 in Hart Plaza, becoming the festivals producers for over ten years. An annual event showcasing classic and emerging underground dance music, the Movement Festival has developed and grown wildly with Paxahau behind the scenes. The company also engages in booking and promotions, in addition to their production expertise.

The party doesn’t stop with the Movement Festival- as the company works year round to curate and produce over 40 events per year, enticing more fun for its enormous fan base. As the company reflects, “Paxahau is globally recognized for its production excellence and dedication to excellent programming, highlighting the best creative talent in electronic music and culture. “ In the past, the group has featured memorable artists such as Richie Hawtin, Maceo Plex, Deadmau5, Claude VonStroke, Skrillex, Disclosure, Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, Matthew Dear, and Cassy.
