PRIDE SOURCE // SaveArtSpace and Playground Detroit Present ‘Signs of The Time’ Exhibit Through Aug. 4
DETROIT — Brooklyn/Detroit-based public art nonprofitSaveArtSpaceand Playground Detroit will present “Signs of the Time,” a cross-media gallery and public art exhibition curated by Ellen Rutt. The selected exhibiting artists are Bre’Ann White, Dessislava Terzieva, Elysia Vandenbussche, Erik Henderson, ProjectArt, Adeshola Makinde, Jonah Welch, Viscaya Wagner and Thomas “Detour” Evans. This exhibit will display the work of these artists across the city on billboards and other public advertisement spaces.
Public art locations include: – E. Grand Blvd and Cameron Street – E. Jefferson Avenue and Holcomb Street – Harper Avenue and Marlborough Street – E. Seven Mile and Kempa Street – W. Warren Avenue and Wesson Street – Michigan Avenue and 23rd Street – Livernois Avenue and Desoto Street – Conner Street and Maiden Street – Joy Road and Alpine Street = Gratiot Avenue and Linnhurst Street
An exhibition with the original artwork will be on view at Playground Detroit, located at 2845 Gratiot Ave. in Detroit from July 18 through Aug. 4.2730
