Renegade Craft Detroit celebrates contemporary handmade featuring the foremost voices in craft and design. Excited by the creative community in a beloved city, Renegade headed to Detroit for the first time in 2017. Capturing the feeling of an al fresco marketplace, Renegade Detroit gathers street-side with exceptional artists, DJ sets, workshops, and food trucks.

PLAYGROUND DETROIT has curated public artworks by Thing Thing as well as a site-specific installation from artist Kirby Miles!

Rising out of the post-industrial landscape, Detroit’s renaissance of arts and culture is producing some of the most exciting art in the country. The city buzzes with an underground hum of artists given the opportunity to grow their work within a diverse community. Attracted to that community, chefs, makers, and creatives alike are establishing themselves in Motor City and making headlines for their innovative work.
